Shopping experience was great.
The only drawback was that it took 2 people and several hours to assemble although all parts were there and well labeled.
Metal dividers are too short so hanging files keep falling. Will have to purchase longer ones.
Overall it is beautiful and the drawers work great. I'm glad I purchased it.

Purchased this item for our home office. I absolutely love it. It is such a beautiful piece of furniture. It not only looks great, it is so functional. I have all of my filing folders hanging in it. I haven't had any problems with them falling when I close the drawers. The drawers are so smooth when the close and it locks closed when it is fully shut. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone that wants a filing cabinet but also a stylish piece of furniture!

[...]LOOKI like the combo of wood color with black that helps blend some black furniture and lamps with other wooden furniture. This is the main reason I purchased this unit; it looks stylish for a file cabinet.ASSEMBLYAssembly was not hard and the manual was clear although I made a mistake (my fault) which I fixed later when I incorrectly placed the plastic stop on the wrong mounting holes in one of the drawers (the two drawers are therefore not exactly the same).THE PROBLEMI couldn't get the bottom drawer to slide nicely (the top did). I even damaged one of the rails by pushing hard. What I noticed was that the gap (or clearance) between the side walls and the bottom drawer was too large. I ended up placing washer between the slide rails and the bottom drawer on both sides and then it worked. The only issue is that one can notice more the gap on each side of the drawer.[...]VALUE FOR PRICEEven with the problems (luckily I know how to fix things around the house), I found the unit a good value for the price. However, I don't know how others would react to the type of issue I encountered.

Product serves the purpose for home use. Assemblying the drawers needs two people. The directions are pictures and screw numbers not bad, except one part lists screws not need had to call 1-800 number they knew proplem immediately said new book takes care of the error.
Overall, good product much better than the one it replaced.

[...] Very heavy, putting it together wasn't too hard just time consuming so be ready for that. I took my time to make sure it was done right but the drawers don't close easily, top one doesn't open that easily either. (Not sure if it gets stuck on sliding mechanism or what!) Also, when I do get the drawers closed often a large section of files come off the inner rail, wish there was a locking mechanism on the arm holding up the files, then maybe it wouldn't do that. For [$] I guess I am pleased, it does hold a lot and it looks like a piece of furniture. I would recommend this but know it has some flaws, you do get what you pay for.

This file cabinet is a great deal for the money. It arrived in perfect condition and sooner than I expected. Though not the most difficult thing I've put together, you do have to pay close attention to the assembly instructions (they are all pictures). I'm not very mechanically inclined and was able to put it together entirely on my own (even without the hubby's help!) in a couple of hours. The only drawback is that the bottoms of the file drawers themselves are not wood/particle board, they're basically a thick cardboard. So, no stowing heavy items ON the bottoms of the drawers (you'll want to hang everything).
I would order from Just Filing Cabinets again without hesitation.

The product is well designed, however the instructions could use some written explanations. Build it close to where you're going to place it, because it's heavy once it's together. Take your time and review the directions BEFORE you start. There are no extra parts -- I used every screw, clip, fastener and nut. Be very careful not to over tighten any of the screws as they will strip out the particleboard. I also wouldn't recommend using an electric screw driver. I took my time and finished it in 2 1/2 hours.
