Nice cabinet for the money. If people expect perfection from a [$] cabinet they are crazy. You need to spend more on furniture if you want flawless construction. Set aside 2 to 3 hours for putting it together. I'm fairly handy and it went fairly smoothly, but it takes a while, and make sure you have a power screwdriver. The rails need to be labled so they go in the right way...and the drawers need to line up easier. But overall I'm happy.

The overall design of this cabinet was what attracted me to buy it. The assembly was time-consuming. But the major problem was that one of the side panels buckled when I screwed in a component! In other words, it appeared that the screw may have been a bit too large and when screwed in securely, it began to protrude through the veneer of the panel. It did not break the surface; but it looks flawed now. It just was not worth taking it apart and trying to package it and send it back or even wait to get a new piece. So we are just living with it! So, just be careful when screwing in screws so that they do not go in too far!

I bought two of these for night stands. They work great, large drawers for cloths and a large surface for lamps and books. I'm very pleased with my purchase. I've had many compliments on these "file cabinets".
